Blocky Universe is a top-down 3D shooter built entirely out of chunky, voxel-style blocks. You play an archer viewed from above, drawing a bow and loosing arrows at waves of pale, shambling enemies that close in from every direction across open, blocky terrain.
A red ring locks onto whichever enemy is nearest, so a session comes down to tracking that marker, firing before you're surrounded, and repositioning as the crowd thins or grows. The fighting isn't confined to one type of ground either — grassy fields dotted with trees give way to rockier, canyon-like terrain where bulkier, armored enemies show up alongside the usual shambling crowd, raising the stakes as you go.
It plays as a quick, arcade-style shoot-and-survive rather than something with a long story to follow — a good pick if you want fast, readable combat you can jump into for a few rounds at a time.
