Blumgi Bounce is a one-shot basketball game built around a single mechanic: hold to load power, release to shoot, and watch your ball arc into the hoop. There's no dribbling or defense to manage, just the pure satisfaction of lining up a shot and nailing the timing on the release.
Each shot lives or dies on how long you hold before letting go, so a session becomes a string of quick attempts where you're constantly adjusting your feel for the power curve. It's built by Blumgi, the studio behind a string of similarly stripped-down physics games (Blumgi Slime, Blumgi Ball, Blumgi Rocket among them), and it plays the same way on a phone as it does at a desktop.
Controls
Click and hold (or tap and hold on mobile) to build up shot strength, then release to shoot. That's the entire control scheme.
Tips
- Short holds give a low, fast shot; longer holds give more arc and distance — get a feel for both before you start chasing a streak.
- Spend your first couple of shots each session just recalibrating, since the power curve takes a few tries to relearn.
- Playing local multiplayer works best by trading the device turn by turn.
It's a good pick for a short break: no setup, no menus to dig through, just shot after shot until you either sink a run or hand the device to a friend.
