About Bump Io

Bump.io drops sixteen cars into one small circular arena and gives everyone the same job: stay inside the ring and knock everyone else out of it. Built by BPTop, it's a fast, chaotic free-for-all where the danger isn't really the cars — it's the edge behind them.

Every clean hit you land on an opponent charges you up with energy, and finishing an opponent off makes your own car bigger. That size matters: a bigger car shrugs off glancing hits that would send a smaller one flying, so early bumps are about building an advantage before the arena gets crowded and cagey.

Controls

One input, mouse only: drag with the left mouse button to steer your car around the arena.

Tips

  • Hit opponents from the side or behind rather than head-on — a head-on trade can send you toward the edge just as easily as them.
  • Stay away from the boundary when you're small. Getting bumped near the edge is how most early runs end.
  • Once you've grown from a couple of takedowns, use the size advantage to push smaller cars around rather than chasing risky even trades.

Bump Io FAQ

How do you play Bump.io?
You're one of sixteen cars in a small arena. Bump opponents to gain energy and knock them out to grow bigger, while staying clear of the boundary yourself.
What are the controls?
Just the mouse — drag with the left mouse button to steer your car.
Is Bump.io multiplayer?
Yes, it's a free-for-all against other players in the same arena, not against bots alone.
Does size matter in Bump.io?
Yes. Landing hits and taking out opponents makes your own car bigger, and a bigger car survives collisions that would knock a smaller one off the edge.
