About Cuphead

This browser build drops you straight into one of Cuphead's signature boss fights: Aviary Action, a duel against Wally Warbles, a towering blue jay who commands the sky across three escalating phases. It plays like the run-and-gun combat the original game is known for — dash, jump, parry pink attacks, and land shots while dodging feathers, wind gusts, and homing birds.

A run starts the moment you pick a difficulty, from an easy Simple mode up to an Invisible Challenge setting that hides your ammo count entirely. You get three lives to clear all three phases of the fight; losing them sends you back to the difficulty select rather than a full campaign, so each attempt is a tight few-minute boss rush instead of a long session.

Controls

Single player uses the arrow keys to move, X to shoot, C to shrink, Z to parry, and V to unleash your super move. A second player can join in on the same keyboard using WASD to move and X, C, V, and B for the same actions.

Tips

  • Parry (Z) pink-colored attacks instead of dodging them — landing a parry also helps charge your super meter.
  • Pick a side of the arena and stay near it so you always have room to dash away from Wally's dive attacks.
  • If a phase feels unfair, drop to Simple difficulty first to learn the attack patterns before climbing back up.

It suits players who already know Cuphead's run-and-gun rhythm and want a quick boss fight, or anyone curious to try its parry-based combat in a short session before deciding whether to play the full game.

Cuphead FAQ

Is this the full Cuphead game?
No. This browser build is a single boss encounter, the Aviary Action fight against Wally Warbles, not the full run-and-gun campaign from the original release.
What do the controls do?
Arrow keys move, X shoots, C shrinks, Z parries, and V triggers your super move. A second player can join in using WASD to move and X, C, V, and B for the same actions.
Can two people play at once?
Yes. The fight supports a two-player mode on the same keyboard, with a separate set of keys for the second player.
Does it save my progress?
No. Each run starts fresh from the difficulty select screen, so there is no save between sessions.
