Cut The Rope: Time Travel keeps the core idea from the rest of the Cut the Rope series — cut the ropes holding a piece of candy so it falls into Om Nom's mouth — and sends it through a string of historical settings, from prehistoric caves to ancient civilizations and beyond. Each stretch of levels swaps in props and hazards themed to its era, so the puzzle-solving stays familiar while the obstacles keep changing.
Every level is really a small physics puzzle: candy hangs from one or more ropes, and cutting them in the right order and at the right moment sends it swinging, bouncing, or floating toward Om Nom instead of into spikes, water, or fire. Bubbles, air cushions, and era-specific gadgets get added into the mix as you go, and each level also hides three stars that reward a cleaner, more precise solution than just "get the candy there somehow."
Controls
Click or tap directly on a rope to cut it. on-screen elements, like bubbles or blowers, are usually activated the same way — by clicking or tapping them at the right moment.
Tips
- Watch the whole layout before cutting anything — later ropes and hazards are often visible from the start, so plan the full path rather than reacting rope by rope.
- Grabbing all three stars usually means timing a cut precisely rather than just clearing the level, so don't be afraid to replay a level once you see a better route.
- Gadgets introduced in one era (bubbles, cushions, and the like) tend to reappear later mixed with new hazards, so pay attention the first time one shows up.
