About Dino Run

Dino Run drops you into a side-scrolling sprint against extinction: a wall of fire is rolling across the land behind your dinosaur, and the only way to survive is to keep running. The pace never really lets up — gaps open in the ground, rocks and obstacles block your path, and falling even slightly behind the wall ends the run.

Along the way you can eat eggs and grab bones scattered through each stretch of level, which push your dino along an evolution path as you go. Runs are split across a few difficulty settings, so a first attempt on Easy plays very differently from a serious Insane run once you know the layout and timing.

Controls

  • Left / Right arrow — run
  • Up arrow — jump
  • Down arrow — duck
  • Shift — short speed dash, usable roughly every 20 seconds

Tips

  • Save the Shift dash for a gap or obstacle you can't otherwise clear in time — it's on a cooldown, not free to spam.
  • Ducking under overhangs is faster than trying to jump past them, since a mistimed jump costs you distance from the wall.
  • Eggs and bones are worth grabbing when they're directly in your path, but never worth doubling back for — the wall doesn't wait.

It's a short, replayable arcade run rather than a long session game — good for a quick round between classes or whenever you've got a couple of minutes to beat your last distance.

Dino Run FAQ

What are the controls for Dino Run?
Use the left and right arrow keys to run, up to jump, down to duck, and Shift for a short speed dash that recharges roughly every 20 seconds.
What happens if the wall catches up to you?
The run ends. The wall of fire is always advancing, so falling behind it for more than a moment ends your attempt.
What do the eggs and bones do?
Eating eggs and collecting bones as you run advances your dinosaur's evolution over the course of a playthrough.
Is Dino Run hard?
It scales across several difficulty levels, from an easy pace for a first run up to a much faster, less forgiving Insane setting.
