Fantasy Sandbox Game

Fantasy Sandbox is a 2D dig-craft-build game in the Terraria mould, built by Indiesoft. You drop into a procedurally generated world, mine your way through blocks to uncover resources and hidden treasure chests, and turn what you find into tools and structures. Nothing is scripted twice — every world is its own layout to dig through.

It runs single-player or multiplayer, so a session can be a quiet solo dig or a shared build with friends online. Co-op play leans toward working together on one structure; if you'd rather cause trouble than build, TNT is there for blowing holes in the map instead.

Controls

Move with WASD or the arrow keys, press I to open your backpack, and use X to switch between the foreground and background layers while digging.

Tips

• Check your backpack (I) often — a full inventory stops you collecting anything new, even the good drops from treasure chests.
• Get comfortable with the foreground/background switch (X) early; a lot of digging shortcuts come from tunneling through the layer behind the one you're standing in.

It suits players who enjoy Terraria-style mining and building but want something they can pick up in a browser tab, alone or with a friend, on desktop or mobile.
