About Time To Fight

Time to Fight is a lighthearted 2D platform fighter from solo developer Russpuppy, built for two people sharing a keyboard or one player taking on the CPU. Instead of combo strings and special meters, a match comes down to reading your opponent and using the arena itself — each of the 9 stages has its own hazards, and one of them lets you finish a fight by flushing your rival down a toilet.

There are 19 playable characters to pick between, a mix of "killer kitties, zombies, and tentacle-men" rather than a serious roster, which fits the game's tone: quick, silly, replayable bouts rather than a deep fighting-game system. It began as a browser game and is also sold as a standalone release on Steam and itch.io.

Controls

  • Player 1: WASD to move and jump, F to attack
  • Player 2: Arrow keys to move and jump, / to attack

Controls can be remapped in the options menu.

It's best suited to two players on one keyboard looking for a fast, goofy fighting game, though the CPU opponent makes it playable solo too.
