Feudal Wars is a 1v1 real-time strategy game set in medieval Europe: pick one of six kingdoms — England, France, the Teutonic Order, Castile, Venice or the Holy Roman Empire — and fight a single opponent for control of the map.
It streamlines the genre rather than copying it outright: there's no resource gathering to manage, castles generate gold on their own, and your barracks, archery ranges and stables produce units automatically once you've built and upgraded them. That frees you up to focus on capturing neutral castles for more income and troops, building walls and guard towers to defend what you hold, and picking the moment to push into your opponent's territory.
Controls
- Left mouse button — select buildings and units, and issue commands
Tips
- Since production is automatic once a building exists, prioritize expanding your buildings early rather than trying to micromanage individual units.
- Neutral castles on the map are worth grabbing fast — each one you hold adds to your gold and troop output.
- Don't neglect walls and guard towers on the castles you already hold; an undefended flank is an easy target once your opponent starts pushing.
It suits quick head-to-head sessions rather than a long build-up — one map, one opponent, and a game that rewards deciding when to attack over deciding what to build.
