Forgotten Hill Disillusion: The Library is a point-and-click puzzle adventure from FM Studio, the team behind the long-running Forgotten Hill horror series. This chapter drops you back into the sprawling, surreal Forgotten Hill Museum, this time inside its library, where you help a character named Mr. Larson chase down the truth behind the town's mysteries.
There is no combat and no timer. The whole game is built around sitting in a small, unsettling room until something makes sense: click an object to add it to your inventory, then try it on doors, locks, and items scattered around the library to open up new areas and clues. A camera tool lets you view certain scenes from a different angle, which is often the only way to spot what a puzzle is actually hiding.
Controls
Everything runs on the mouse. Click to pick up an item, click again to use it where you think it belongs, and use the camera tool whenever a scene feels like it's hiding something you can't see head-on.
Tips
- Re-examine a room after picking up something new — inventory items often reveal a detail you already walked past.
- Use the camera tool early. Several puzzles only click once you've viewed a scene from another angle.
- Stuck is normal here. The built-in hint system escalates gradually and its last hint will finish the puzzle for you rather than leave you stuck.
It suits anyone who likes slow, atmospheric puzzle-horror over jump scares — patient investigation over reflexes, in one self-contained chapter of the Forgotten Hill story.
