Forgotten Hill: The Wardrobe 4 puts you in the shoes of a broke, overworked dentist with a sick brother and a debt he can't pay off. When an old wardrobe arrives from a late cousin, it turns out to hold a way out of his troubles — at a price that gets darker the more of it you uncover. It's a point-and-click adventure set almost entirely inside one office, and the hand-drawn art leans hard into that creeping, off-kilter horror the Forgotten Hill series is known for.

There's no combat and no timer pushing you along. You move around the office, click on objects and patients, and piece together a string of small puzzles that slowly reveal what the wardrobe actually wants. It's a slow-burn mystery more than a jump-scare gauntlet — the tension comes from not knowing what you're going to find next, not from things leaping out at you.

Controls

Everything is mouse-only: move the cursor around the room and click to interact, examine objects, and talk to patients. There's nothing to type and no keyboard shortcuts to learn.

Tips

• Click on everything in a scene before moving on — this is an inventory-and-clue adventure, and an item you skip early can block a puzzle much later.
• Pay attention to what patients say. Dialogue here tends to be a clue delivery system as much as flavor text.
• If a puzzle stalls, backtrack to rooms you've already visited rather than staring at the current screen — the Forgotten Hill games often need an item picked up somewhere else.

This one's a good fit if you like slower, story-driven point-and-click horror you can sit with for a session rather than something fast-paced — especially if you've played the earlier Wardrobe entries and want to see where the dentist's story goes.
