Golf Solitaire deals out seven columns of cards and one open pile at the bottom. Your job is to empty the columns into that pile, one card at a time, by matching a card that's exactly one rank above or below whatever sits on top. Chain enough consecutive matches in a row and the runs start to feel less like patience and more like reflexes.
There's no shuffling or foundation-building here, just steady reading of what's playable. When nothing on the board matches, flip a card from the face-down stock to refresh the pile — you can keep doing that until you find a move or run out of cards entirely. A hint button and a "steal" option (pull a random card from a column when you're stuck) are built in for rounds that dead-end.
Controls
Mouse or tap: click a playable card to send it to the pile, click the stock pile to draw a new card.
Tips
- Clear the columns with the most face-down cards first — they hide options you can't see yet.
- Before drawing from the stock, scan every column for a match; drawing is a last resort, not a habit.
- Save the hint and steal buttons for a genuine dead end rather than the first tricky patch.
A short, replayable round for anyone who wants a card game that rewards paying attention over long-term strategy.
