Impossible 13 is a merge puzzle from RoboWhale that borrows its core idea from 2048 but plays out more like a match-3 board. Circles carrying numbers and colors sit on a grid, and dragging one onto two or more matching neighbors fuses them into a single circle with the next number up. The board keeps filling with new low circles, so the real game is managing space while you chain merges toward the target value.
The pace starts calm — small numbers, plenty of room, easy matches — but every merge makes the next tier harder to trigger, since you need three or more of the same color and number in reach of each rather than just two adjacent tiles. Runs end when the grid fills up before you can clear space, so a session is really a slow build toward one big push at the number 13.
Controls
Mouse only: drag a circle onto matching circles to merge them. It also works with touch on phone and tablet.
Tips
- Don't rush every merge you see — clearing a small cluster too early can leave you without a match for the next tier.
- Keep an eye on which colors are piling up in corners; those are the ones you'll run out of room for first.
- Bigger merges (four or more circles at once) buy you more breathing room than repeated small ones, so wait for them when the board isn't close to full.
It suits short, replayable sessions rather than a long story or level list — one board, one climb toward 13, restart and try to beat your own run.
