In The Doghouse is a puzzle game where the level itself is the obstacle. A dog is stuck on one side of a cluttered house and a bone is waiting on the , and the only way to connect them is by dragging rooms around like tiles until a path opens up between them.
Each room can be moved, flipped, or rotated, but only while it's empty — the dog has to be somewhere else in the house before you can shift the room it's standing in. Slide corridors into place, line up doorways, and the dog will walk toward its bone on its own, even riding elevators up and down between floors when the layout calls for it. The challenge is less about reflexes and more about reading the whole house at once and figuring out which room needs to move first to unlock the rest.
Controls
Mouse only — click and drag a room to move it. There's nothing to memorize beyond that.
Tips
- Look for the room the dog is currently occupying — everything else is fair game to move, so plan around what's actually free.
- Elevators let the dog change floors automatically; use them to route around rooms you can't rearrange yet.
- If a level feels stuck, work backward from the bone's room instead of forward from the dog's — it's often easier to see which piece is missing.
A quiet, low-pressure puzzler for anyone who likes untangling a layout piece by piece rather than racing a clock.
