Klondike Solitaire Game

Klondike Solitaire is the classic card game that almost everyone has played at least once. Your goal is to build four foundation piles, one for each suit, starting from the Ace and working all the way up to the King. To get there, you must organize the mixed-up tableau by stacking cards in descending order while alternating between red and black suits.

Because there is no timer counting down, it is the perfect low-pressure game to leave open in a browser tab. You can take your time scanning the columns for your next move, drawing from the stock pile when you get stuck, and planning out how to free up the hidden face-down cards. It requires a mix of strategy, careful observation, and a little bit of luck with the draw.

Controls

• Mouse: Click and drag cards to move them between piles.
• Double Click: Instantly send a playable card to the foundation piles.

Tips

• Expose hidden cards early: Prioritize moving cards from the columns that have the most face-down cards underneath them. The more cards you flip, the more options you have.
• Save empty columns for Kings: Only a King (or a stack starting with a King) can be moved into an empty space on the board. Don't empty a column unless you have a King ready to take its place.
• Hold off on foundation piles: Sometimes it is better to keep lower cards on the main board for a while to help you maneuver cards, rather than sending them to the foundation immediately.
