Master Checkers Game

Master Checkers brings the classic 8x8 board game to your browser, pitting you against a computer opponent or a friend in local multiplayer. The rules are the standard, time-tested ones you already know: twelve pieces per side, moving diagonally across the dark squares, and mandatory jumping if an opponent leaves an opening.

The digital board is clean and easy to read, focusing entirely on the strategy of the match without any distracting visual fluff. You can play at your own pace, trying to lock down the center of the board and carefully pushing your pieces toward the back row to get them crowned as kings.

Controls

• Mouse / Touch: Click or tap a piece to select it, then click the square you want to move it to.

Tips

• Keep your back row filled for as long as possible. If you don't move your back pieces, your opponent cannot get any kings.
• Control the center of the board to give your pieces the maximum number of diagonal paths.
• Remember that jumps are mandatory. You can use this rule to force your opponent to jump one of your pieces, leaving them out of position so you can capture two of theirs in return.
