Merge the Numbers Game

Merge the Numbers is a drag-and-connect puzzle from Eagle Games: instead of sliding tiles across a grid like most number-merging games, you drag your finger or cursor across matching digits to link them, and every number you connect in a chain merges into a single higher-value tile. The board keeps filling in from the top, so the real skill is reading ahead and clearing space before it stacks up.

There's no timer forcing your hand each turn, but the pressure is constant — new rows of numbers keep appearing, and a board that fills to the top ends the run. A session is short and replayable: chase a personal best, then start again with a cleaner plan for how you link tiles next time.

Controls

Click or tap a number and drag across tiles of the same value to connect them into a chain, then release to merge the chain into a single higher-value tile. Works with mouse on desktop or touch on mobile and tablet.

Tips

• Chain as many matching numbers together as you can in one drag — a longer chain merges into a bigger number and clears more space in one move.
• Work from the edges and corners first; numbers stranded in a corner are harder to reach once the board fills in.
• Don't chase the highest single tile at the expense of open space — a full board ends the game no matter how high your best merge was.

It's a good fit for a quick puzzle break: easy to pick up, with just enough planning involved to reward players who think a couple of merges ahead.
