Morph Balls is a physics platformer built around a single trick: your ball isn't stuck as one shape. Roll along a narrow track toward the finish line and the terrain keeps changing under you — gaps that need a light, floaty form, delicate floors that only hold a soft form, heavy drops that call for a dense, fast-rolling form. Reading the track and swapping in time is the whole game.
Runs are short and momentum-driven rather than puzzle-slow: you're usually rolling at speed, picking the right form a beat before you hit the obstacle it's meant for. Miss the swap and you fall through a fragile floor or get stopped dead by a wall a lighter form would have floated past, so a level is less about memorizing a route and more about staying a step ahead of what's coming.
Controls
- WASD or the arrow keys to roll (click-and-drag also steers the ball)
- 1, 2, or 3 to switch between ball forms
- Spacebar to pause
Tips
- Swap forms before you reach the obstacle, not on top of it — the switch needs a moment to register.
- If a floor looks thin or cracked, that's the cue for the soft form, not the heavy one.
- Wide gaps favor the light form; it holds air long enough to drift across.
- Slow down mentally on new obstacle types even if the ball itself is still moving fast — a wrong guess usually means starting the section over.
It suits short sessions where you want quick, replayable platforming rather than a long story or level grind — a few minutes at a time to push further down the track.
