Pixel Smash Duel is a one-on-one platform fighter built around a single move: a jump-dodge that doubles as your gun. You and your opponent share a small floating platform, and every hit knocks the loser back toward the edge — the goal isn't a health bar, it's staying on the platform while the player falls off.
Rounds are quick. You hold your button to leap and dodge incoming shots, then release it to fire back the moment you land or peak in the air, so the whole match becomes a rhythm of baiting a shot, dodging, and punishing the recoil. Whoever pushes the player off five times first takes the match.
Controls
- Player 1: W or E — hold to jump and dodge, release to shoot
- Player 2: Up arrow or M — hold to jump and dodge, release to shoot
Tips
- Firing is tied to releasing the jump button, not a separate key — hold it a beat longer than instinct tells you to bait a whiffed shot.
- You're most exposed the instant you land, since that's usually when you let go to shoot — try to time your release for when your opponent is still airborne.
- The platform is small enough that positioning matters as much as timing; edge fights favor whoever dodged more recently.
It's a two-minute-a-round game that works best played locally against a friend on the same keyboard, though the CPU opponent is there if you're playing alone.
