Pull the String is a physics puzzle built around a single question each stage: which pin do you pull first? Nick is trying to sneak past his strict teacher and grab the gold at the end of each level, and every pin, plank, and rope on screen is part of a small Rube Goldberg contraption you have to trigger in the right order.
Pull the wrong pin and something drops, swings, or collapses too early, waking a trap or blocking your own path. Pull the right one and the level unravels one piece at a time until Nick can walk through safely. Levels are short, so a wrong guess costs you seconds, not minutes, which makes trial and error part of the actual fun rather than a punishment.
Controls
Everything runs on a single mouse click: click a pin to pull it. On phone and tablet, tap the pin instead.
Tips
- Look at what each pin is actually holding up before you pull it — the layout usually gives away the order if you trace the ropes and planks with your eyes first.
- If a pull doesn't go the way you expected, most levels let you retry instantly, so treat a bad guess as free information.
- Traps tied to the teacher character are usually the last thing you want to trigger — clear the safe pins around them first.
It's a good fit for short breaks: quick puzzle rounds with an obvious goal and no long setup between attempts.
