About Rockitty

Rockitty is a physics puzzle platformer by Nitrome. You control a small ship carrying Rockitty through cramped, boxed-in rooms, using short bursts of thrust to bounce off walls, floors and ceilings on the way to her spaceship at the end of each level.

There's no running or jumping here — you aim with the mouse and click to launch, then watch momentum take over. Every surface you hit sends you rebounding in a new direction unless it's covered in pink, sticky goo, which is the only thing that will actually stop you. Along the way you scoop up fish worth different point values while dodging orange lava patches that cost you a heart on contact.

Controls

  • Mouse move — aim the direction Rockitty will launch
  • Mouse click — fire her off in that direction

Tips

  • Plan your bounce off the pink goo, not just your launch — goo is the only surface that stops you, so it's your real waypoint between fish.
  • Watch your angle before you click. Since everything but goo rebounds you, a launch straight at a hard wall can send you right back into lava.
  • Grab fish on the way to your landing spot rather than detouring for them — extra clicks mean extra chances to clip a hazard.

It suits players who like tight, momentum-based puzzles they can pick up in seconds but need a few tries to actually clear cleanly.

Rockitty FAQ

How do you control Rockitty?
It's mouse-only: move the mouse to aim, then click to launch Rockitty in that direction. There's no keyboard input.
What stops Rockitty from bouncing forever?
Only the pink, sticky goo. Every other surface, including walls, floors and ceilings, sends you rebounding off in a new direction.
What do you collect, and what should you avoid?
You collect fish worth different point values on the way to your spaceship, and avoid orange lava patches, which cost you a heart if you hit them.
