About Rolling Jump

Rolling Jump is an arcade platformer about climbing, not exploring: a horde of monsters is chasing you from below, and the only way to survive is to keep bouncing upward through a tower of rotating platforms. Each platform spins at its own speed, so the run is really a rhythm problem — jump a beat too early or late and you fall straight into the pack behind you.

Along the way you can grab stars for points and clip passing airships for bonus rewards, but neither is worth chasing if it costs you the timing on the next platform. Wall jumps and double jumps give you a second chance to recover a bad landing, which is often the difference between a short climb and a personal best.

Controls

Click the mouse or press spacebar to jump. Click or press spacebar a second time in the air for a double jump. On phones and tablets, tap the screen to jump.

Tips

  • Watch a platform's rotation for a second before committing — jumping into its slow side is safer than its fast side.
  • Save your double jump for recovering from a mistimed landing rather than using it on every platform.
  • Only detour for stars and airships when the next platform is already lined up.

It's a quick pick-up-and-play climb best suited to short sessions where you're chasing a higher score than last time.

Rolling Jump FAQ

How do I jump in Rolling Jump?
Click the mouse or press spacebar to jump. Doing it again while in the air gives you a double jump for extra height.
Can I play Rolling Jump on my phone?
Yes, it works on phones and tablets — tap the screen to jump instead of clicking or pressing spacebar.
What happens if the monsters catch me?
The run ends if the chasing horde reaches the bottom of the screen, so the goal is to keep climbing the rotating platforms faster than they close the gap.
Do the stars and airships matter?
Grabbing stars and hitting airships adds bonus points, but they're only worth going for when it doesn't cost you the timing on your next jump.
