Shape Fold Animals Game

Shape Fold Animals is a relaxing spatial puzzle game where you arrange connected wooden pieces to form the silhouettes of various creatures. Unlike standard jigsaw or tangram puzzles where every piece is loose, the geometric shapes here are physically linked together by hinges. You have to drag and fold the chain of polygons so that they perfectly fill the outline of an animal without any overlapping parts.

Because the pieces are attached to one another, moving a single shape drags the rest of the structure with it. The challenge comes from figuring out the correct sequence of folds and rotations to get every piece to sit flat inside the silhouette. The game moves at your own pace with no timers or move limits, making it a soothing, low-pressure experience paired with a clean wooden aesthetic.

Controls

The game is fully playable with a mouse or touch screen. Click and hold (or tap and hold) any wooden piece, then drag it to move it. To rotate a piece around its hinge, simply move your cursor or finger in a circular motion. Because the pieces are connected, you will often need to unfold them completely before trying to fit them into the outline.

Tips

• Unfold everything first: When you start a level, drag the pieces apart so the entire chain is stretched out. This makes it much easier to see the shapes you are working with.
• Find the anchors: Look for large shapes that clearly match a specific part of the animal's silhouette, such as a square that perfectly fits an elephant's foot, and position that piece first.
• Use the hinges: If a piece isn't fitting, pay attention to the joint connecting it to the rest of the chain. You might need to rotate the entire structure around that specific hinge to get the angle right.
