Sport Minibattles packs four quick sports into one round-based scramble. Every match pulls a random game from soccer, basketball, tennis, and volleyball, so the rules and the ball physics reset each time you or your opponent scores. First to five points takes the round, and power-ups drift onto the field to swing momentum if you can reach them before the side does.
Matches move fast because each mini-sport only needs a handful of points to decide, so a bad start in soccer doesn't linger — you're on to basketball before you can dwell on it. Play against the AI solo, or share the keyboard with a friend for local split-screen matches.
Controls
Single player: Left/Right arrows to move, Up to jump, A to smash the ball.
Two players: Player 1 uses A/D to move, W to jump, and Space to smash. Player 2 uses the Left/Right arrows to move, Up to jump, and 0 or Enter to smash.
Tips
- Grab power-ups as they appear on the field — they're often what turns a close round.
- Each sport has different timing for jumps and smashes, so don't rely on the reflexes from the last mini-game.
- In split-screen, staying near your side's power-up spawns denies your opponent easy pickups too.
It's a good pick for a short one-on-one session with a friend on the same keyboard, or a few quick rounds solo against the AI.
