Sudoblocks Game

Sudoblocks takes the tile-dropping satisfaction of a block puzzle and crosses it with sudoku logic. Pieces wait in a tray along the side of a 9x9 board; drag one onto an open spot and the board rewards you for filling a full row, a full column, or one of the nine 3x3 squares, clearing it the way a completed line clears in classic block games.

A run ends the moment you run out of room for your remaining pieces, so most of the skill is in reading two or three moves ahead instead of dropping shapes wherever they fit first. Four power-ups — undo, destroy, rotate, and swap — sit on the board to bail you out of a bad layout, and three modes (Standard, Timed, and a no-pressure Relaxed mode) plus a night-mode display let you pick how much pressure you want on a given session.

Controls

Mouse only: press and hold on a piece in the tray, drag it over the grid, and release to drop it into place.

Tips

• Save your power-ups for a layout that's actually unsolvable, not the first awkward gap — undo is free insurance, destroy and swap are not.
• Clearing a 3x3 square is often easier to set up than a full row or column, since it only needs pieces from a handful of tray slots instead of a clean sweep across the whole board.
• Try Relaxed mode first to learn how the piece shapes interact with the 3x3 sections before switching to Timed, where the clock punishes hesitation.

It suits anyone who likes sudoku-style pattern reading but wants tactile drag-and-drop pacing instead of number entry.
