Super Billy Boy is a 2D side-scrolling platformer built in Construct. Billy and his friends were exploring an unknown planet when a robot invader carried off his friend Adduk, and the game follows Billy across the alien landscape to get him back — running, jumping, and shooting through whatever the robot's forces put in his way.
The core loop is classic run-and-gun platforming: cross ledges and gaps, watch for traps built into the level layout, and clear out enemies with a ranged shot rather than bumping into them. Because the jump button also doubles as flight, Billy has more air control than a plain platformer hero, which matters most when a landing spot turns out to be a trap.
Controls
- Move: A/D or Left/Right arrow keys
- Jump / fly: W or Up arrow key
- Shoot: X or J
Tips
- Shoot enemies before you reach them — the gun has range, so running in without firing first usually costs a hit.
- Jump doubles as flight, so use it to steer your landing over a gap rather than just to clear one.
- The levels are built around obstacles and pickups, so if you're not racing to the exit, take the slower route and grab what's along the way.
It suits a short arcade session more than a long one — a straightforward Mario-style rescue romp for players who want to jump, shoot, and move on.
