TicTacToe takes the pen-and-paper classic onto a clean digital board: two players trade turns marking X and O on a 3x3 grid, and the first to line up three marks in a row - across, down, or diagonally - wins the round. Tips

• The center square sits on the most winning lines, so it's usually the strongest opening move when it's open.
• If the center is taken, a corner is the next best choice - corners sit on more winning lines than edges.
• Watch for a "fork," a move that opens two ways to win at once. Take one when you spot it for yourself, and block your opponent's before it's set up.
• Between two players who don't slip up, tic-tac-toe always ends in a draw - so play each move to deny your opponent's third mark, not just to build your own line.

It's a good pick for a short mental break or a quick one-on-one when you've only got a minute to spare.
