Touchdown Rush is a lane-dodging endless runner with a football theme: your player sprints downfield on their own, and your job is to steer them past incoming defenders while grabbing power-ups along the way. There's no play-calling or passing here — it's a reflex game, closer to a side-scrolling dodge run than a football sim.
The game is split into a run of stages rather than one continuous track. Each stage throws more defenders at you and spawns them faster than the last, so the early levels are about learning the rhythm of when to juke and when to jump, and the later ones are a genuine test of reaction time.
Controls
Use the left and right arrow keys to move your player sideways and dodge defenders, and press spacebar to jump over them. On touch devices, on-screen controls take over automatically.
Tips
- Watch the defenders' spacing rather than just the closest one — later stages spawn more than one at a time, and lining up your dodge too early can run you straight into the second.
- Power-ups appear on a set rhythm as you clear defenders, so it's worth holding your lane briefly if one is about to spawn instead of drifting past it.
- Each stage gets faster before it gets harder in any way — if you're getting caught out, it's usually timing, not a new obstacle type, that's the problem.
It suits quick, replayable sessions — a stage or two at a time rather than one long sitting.
