War of Sticks is a stickman strategy game about building an army from nothing and marching it into the enemy's base. You start with a patch of ground and a gold mine, and everything else — soldiers, archers, heavier troops — has to be paid for out of what your miners dig up.
The pace is deliberate rather than frantic: you spend a stretch of each level gathering resources and deciding what to train before you commit to a push, then watch whether that mix of units actually holds up against what the enemy throws back. Later levels raise the bar, so the army that carried you through an early stage stops being enough on its own.
Controls
War of Sticks is played with the mouse (or a finger on touchscreens): click the purchase buttons in the upper-left corner of the screen to hire miners and troops.
Tips
- Don't spend every coin on troops the moment you have it — keeping a miner or two working early pays off once the fights get expensive.
- Watch what the enemy sends before committing your whole army to an attack; matching their composition matters more than just having more units.
It suits players who like a light management layer under their combat — deciding what to build, not just clicking to attack.
