World Cup Penalty Game

World Cup Penalty puts you in charge of a national team through an entire penalty-shootout tournament, one country at a time. Instead of a full 90 minutes, every match comes down to five shots on offense and five on defense — score more than the team across from you and you advance to face the next one.

Both halves of a shootout use the same click-based system: on offense you click a moving indicator to lock in the ball's direction, then its height, then how hard you strike it, one meter after another. On defense the roles flip — the opponent's shot direction flashes as an "x" in the net, and you click to throw your keeper into that spot before the ball arrives. Miss the timing on either side and it costs you a goal.

Controls

Mouse or tap only. Click when the moving indicator lines up where you want it — first for shot direction, then height, then power on offense; a single well-timed click on defense to dive toward the shot.

Tips

• Watch the indicator's speed before you commit — rushing the first click (direction) throws off the rest of the sequence.
• On defense, react to where the "x" appears rather than guessing early; the marker is the actual tell for where the shot is going.
• Since it's five shots a side, one bad kick isn't fatal — settle back into the rhythm rather than pressing to make it up immediately.

It's a short, replayable format that suits quick sessions — you can knock out a round or two on a break and pick the tournament back up later.
