Bloxorz Game

Bloxorz is a classic spatial puzzle game where your goal is to maneuver a 1x2 rectangular block through a suspended platform and drop it into a square hole. The movement mechanics are entirely based on flipping the block end over end or rolling it on its side, which requires careful planning to ensure you align perfectly with the exit. It starts simply, but quickly introduces complex grid layouts that test your spatial reasoning.

As you progress through the 33 stages, the platforms become more treacherous, adding switches that activate bridges and teleporters that split your block in two. The tension comes from knowing exactly where you want the block to go, but having to mentally reverse-engineer the required flips to get it standing upright on a single specific tile without falling off the edge.

Controls

Use the Arrow Keys to roll and flip the block around the grid. It moves one space per flip. If you fall off the edge, the level restarts instantly.

Tips

• Write down the level codes: At the start of each stage, you'll see a 6-digit passcode in the corner. Keep a list of these so you can load your progress later, as the game does not save automatically.
• Be careful on orange tiles: These glass tiles can support your block when it lies flat, but if you stand the block vertically on one, it will shatter and you will fall.
• Understand the switches: X-shaped switches require heavy pressure, meaning your block must stand vertically on them to activate. O-shaped (circular) switches are sensitive and will activate even if the block is just lying flat across them.
