Color Switch is a fast-paced arcade game of timing and patience. You control a small bouncing ball, and your goal is to tap the screen to guide it upward through a gauntlet of spinning geometric obstacles. The catch is right in the name: your ball can only pass through the sections of an obstacle that exactly match its current color. Touching the wrong color shatters your ball and ends the run immediately.
Between each major obstacle, you will grab a color-changing power-up that randomly swaps your ball's color, forcing you to constantly adapt on the fly. The spinning circles, crosses, and sliding lines move at different speeds, requiring precise rhythm. It is a loop that feels intensely rewarding when you clear a tough section, and instantly punishing when you rush.
Controls
The input scheme is as simple as it gets:
- Left Click / Spacebar / Up Arrow: Tap to bounce the ball upwards. Tap rapidly to hover in place, or tap slowly to let the ball drop slightly before the next obstacle.
Tips
- Do not rush: The most common mistake is panic-tapping through a gap. If the obstacle is spinning too fast, hover below it by maintaining a steady tapping rhythm until the right color cycles around.
- Watch the next shape: Always keep an eye on the color-changer pickup and the obstacle immediately above it so you are not caught off guard by a sudden speed change.
- Collect stars: Stars scattered throughout the level act as currency. You can spend them in the shop to unlock new shapes for your player character.
