Craftomation 1 drops you onto a frozen planet with a single objective: terraform the icy wasteland into a habitable world. To do this, you do not gather resources manually. Instead, you program tiny, dedicated robots called Craftomatons to do the heavy lifting for you. It is a brilliant blend of visual logic programming and factory automation that challenges you to build self-sustaining production loops.
The core gameplay revolves around a simple drag-and-drop programming interface. You give your robots specific commands—like picking up resources, combining elements, and dropping them into a fire to keep them from freezing. As you progress, you unlock more complex logic blocks, allowing you to create intricate routines that run entirely on their own while you plan the next expansion of your automated colony.
You interact with the game entirely using the mouse. Click and drag command blocks to build a sequence of actions for each Craftomaton. Your robots need a steady supply of heat to function, so your first priority is always programming a loop that continuously feeds fuel into a fire. From there, you can automate gathering raw materials, combining them in crafting stations, and expanding your territory across the ice.
