G-Switch 2 flips the traditional platformer script by replacing jumping with gravity inversion. You control a cybernetic runner on an automatic sprint through mechanical corridors filled with deadly gaps and obstacles. Instead of leaping over danger, a single input flips your gravity, sending your character from the floor to the ceiling and vice versa. The relentless pacing means hesitation leads to an instant reset, making each run a tense test of reflexes and muscle memory.
The game offers a static campaign to master and an endless mode for high-score chasers. However, the true highlight is the chaotic local multiplayer, which supports up to 8 players simultaneously on the same keyboard. Navigating the track is difficult enough alone, but doing so while your friends are trying to outlast you adds an intense layer of competitive fun to the experience.
Controls
- Single Player: Press any key, click the left mouse button, or tap to flip gravity.
- Multiplayer: Each player is assigned a specific key (such as C, M, Ctrl, or Right Arrow) depending on their selected slot.
Tips
- Look ahead: Keep your eyes focused on the right side of the screen. Anticipating the upcoming gaps and obstacles is crucial, as reacting only when they are close will often be too late.
- Mid-air adjustments: You can flip gravity while falling to stall your momentum. This technique is extremely helpful for bypassing tricky laser traps or landing safely on misaligned platforms.
- Treat it like rhythm: In campaign mode, the levels do not change. Try to internalize the timing of your flips as a sequence of rhythmic beats.
