About Jelly Truck

Jelly Truck takes the standard 2D driving formula and throws it out the window by making your entire vehicle out of bouncy, squishy gelatin. Instead of worrying about suspension and rigid terrain, you are driving a wobbly machine that stretches, flattens, and bounces its way over equally wobbly obstacles. The goal of each level is simple: get your truck from the start to the finish line without getting permanently stuck or flipped over in a way you cannot recover from.

The soft-body physics are the entire point of the game. Every bump sends a ripple through your truck, and you will often have to squeeze through tight gaps that flatten your cab or stretch your wheels across wide chasms. It is chaotic, unpredictable, and funny, turning what would normally be a frustrating physics puzzle into a lighthearted playground of momentum.

Controls

Because the truck behaves like a water balloon, you have to manage your tilt in the air to land properly.

  • Up Arrow / W: Accelerate
  • Down Arrow / S: Brake and reverse
  • Left and Right Arrows / A and D: Tilt the truck backward and forward
  • R: Restart the current level

Tips

  • Do not just hold down the gas. Your truck is made of jelly, so too much speed will send you bouncing out of control and onto your roof.
  • Use the tilt controls while in the air to ensure your wheels hit the ground first. Landing on your roof makes it very hard to recover.
  • Sometimes getting squished is necessary. If you are stuck under a heavy object or in a tight tunnel, keep wiggling the drive keys to squirm your way out.

With its vibrant art style and completely ridiculous physics, Jelly Truck is a great casual distraction. It requires just enough skill to keep you engaged while remaining silly enough that failing a level usually results in a laugh rather than frustration.

Jelly Truck FAQ

How do you flip your truck back over in Jelly Truck?
Because the truck is soft and bouncy, you can often wiggle it back onto its wheels by alternating the left and right tilt keys. If you get completely stuck upside down, press R to restart the level.
Can I play Jelly Truck without a mouse?
Yes, Jelly Truck is entirely keyboard-controlled. You only need the arrow keys or WASD to drive and balance the truck, making it easy to play on a laptop.
What happens if the truck gets completely squished?
Your truck cannot be destroyed by being squished. The jelly physics allow it to flatten to fit under heavy objects and then pop back into its original shape once it is free.
