Merge Cakes is a relaxed, endless puzzle game about combining desserts to fill your bakery with increasingly elaborate treats. You start with a simple grid where basic cakes periodically appear under serving domes. By clicking and dragging one cake onto an identical one, they merge into the next tier—turning two plain sponges into a frosted cupcake, two cupcakes into a slice of cheesecake, and so on.

There are no timers, no fail states, and no complex controls. Every cake on your board generates coins passively over time, with higher tiers producing cash much faster. You can use these coins to buy specific cakes from the shop, skipping the wait for random drops and speeding up your progress toward the rarest recipes. It is a slow-burn, satisfying loop meant to be played in short bursts or kept open in a background tab.

Tips

• Keep your board tidy: Always merge everything you can. A full board means no new basic cakes can spawn, bringing your progress to a halt until you clear some space.
• Buy smart: The price of a specific cake in the shop increases every time you buy it. Spread your purchases across different tiers to get the most value for your coins.
• Idle income matters: Since cakes generate money passively, try to merge up to the highest possible tier before stepping away from the game, maximizing your offline earnings.
