Stickman Hook is a one-button swinging game: grab a hook, let your ragdoll stickman's momentum carry it forward, and release at the right moment to fly into the next one. There's no running or jumping — the whole game is timing a swing, and a level that looks trivial can still send you smashing into a wall if you let go a fraction of a second too late.
Runs are short, usually just a few seconds once you know a level's layout, which makes failing cheap and retrying instant. The floppy ragdoll physics supply most of the comedy; the actual skill is reading each hook's arc and releasing near the top of the swing instead of the bottom.
Controls
Desktop: hold the mouse button or spacebar to attach to a hook, release to launch. Mobile: tap and hold to hook, release to fly.
Tips
- Release near the top of the swing's arc, not the bottom — letting go too late kills your forward speed.
- Let momentum carry you between hooks; grabbing every single one you pass often slows you down more than skipping one.
- Use the bouncy platforms to correct your position mid-air instead of fighting the swing.
It suits short sessions well — a few quick swings between games rather than one long sit-down run.
