The Sun for the Vampire is a puzzle platformer from EyesTeam about a vampire with one goal: see daylight for the first time. Getting there means working through room after room of a dim castle, pushing crates and drowsy guards out of the way, throwing levers to open doors, and tracking down the keys that actually let you leave a level.
The pace is deliberate rather than twitchy. Most rooms are small, self-contained puzzles — figure out which box goes where, which guard needs shoving aside, and which gap only your bat form can cross, then execute it. Rushing a room usually just walks you into a trap you'd have spotted by looking first.
Controls
- Left / Right arrow (or A/D): Move.
- Up arrow (or W), held: Transform into a bat and fly.
Tips
- Guards aren't just obstacles to dodge — you can push them like crates, which often clears a path faster than sneaking around.
- Locked doors need a key first. Scout a room for its key before committing to the exit.
- Save bat flight for gaps plain platforming can't reach; it's built for crossing distance, not general movement.
- Traps are usually visible before you commit to a jump. A few seconds of looking beats a restart.
It suits players who like a slower, puzzle-first platformer over anything reflex-heavy — closer to a light castle-heist puzzle than an action game.
