About Water Sort

Water Sort is a color-matching puzzle built around one simple rule: pour water between tubes until every tube holds just one color. There's no timer and no combat, just a grid of mixed-color tubes and a series of small decisions about which pour opens things up and which one boxes you in.

The first levels are easy enough to clear without much thought, but the difficulty ramps once you're a few dozen levels in — more tubes, more colors, and fewer safe moves, so the same careful planning that felt optional early on becomes the whole game.

Controls

Click or tap the tube holding the color you want to move, then click or tap the tube you want to pour it into. You can only pour onto a matching color or into an empty tube, and only as much of it as will fit.

Tips

  • Empty a tube early whenever you can — a spare tube is the only real "undo" move you have mid-puzzle, since it gives you somewhere to dump a color temporarily.
  • Pour off whichever color sits on top of the most tubes first; it clears space faster than chasing a color you can only see once.
  • Use the free undo the moment a pour backfires instead of replaying the whole level from scratch.
  • If a level has you stuck, use one of your free hints or add an extra tube rather than guessing blindly — both are built in for exactly that situation.

It's a good fit for short breaks as much as longer stretches — there's no penalty for stepping away mid-puzzle, and with over a thousand levels there's no shortage of them to come back to.
