Blocks Fill Tangram is a drag-and-drop tangram puzzle: every level hands you a small set of colorful shapes and a board with gaps that need filling exactly. There's no timer pushing you and no fail state to punish a wrong guess, just a shape that either slots into place or doesn't, so you nudge, rotate your thinking, and try the next arrangement until the board clears clean.
The game is organized into journeys, and each one runs 80 levels deep, so difficulty ramps gradually rather than throwing an awkward piece count at you on level two. Early boards are forgiving with obvious fits; later ones ask you to hold two or three possible placements in your head at once before committing, which is where the puzzle earns its "tangram" name rather than being simple block-stacking.
Controls
Everything is pointer-based: click and drag a piece with the mouse, or tap and drag with a finger on a touchscreen, to move it into an open space on the board.
Tips
- Place your largest or most oddly-shaped piece first — it usually only fits in one spot, so locking it in early narrows down where everything else has to go.
- If a piece looks close but won't seat, check for a 90-degree rotation you haven't tried rather than assuming the shape is wrong for that gap.
- When a board has one lingering hole late in a level, scan pieces you've already placed — tangram boards occasionally want you to unseat and re-fit one to open up the last space.
It's a low-pressure fit, best suited to short sessions where you want something to occupy your hands and eyes without any pressure or reflex demands.
