Bring me Cakes is a sliding-block puzzle built around a Little Red Riding Hood premise: guide your character across each level to collect cakes and deliver them to Grandmother. Movement isn't step-by-step — you pick a direction and your character slides until it hits a wall, a rock, or something else that stops it, so every level is really a route-planning problem before it's a reflex one.
Wolves and obstacles block direct paths, which is what makes the sliding rule bite: overshoot a slide into a wolf and the attempt is ruined, so you're constantly working out the order of moves that lets you thread between them. Helper tools soften the harder puzzles — dynamite to blast open a blocked route, a hint from Granny when you're stuck, and an undo to take back a slide that left you in a dead end. There are more than 130 levels spread across three chapters (forest, mine, and ice land), plus 61 unlockable bonus levels for anyone who clears the main set.
Controls
Swipe on touch devices, or use the arrow keys or click a direction on desktop, to slide your character that way. It keeps moving until it's stopped by an obstacle or the edge of the board.
Tips
- Work out the whole route before your first move — a slide can't be steered or stopped partway through.
- Save dynamite for routes that genuinely have no path, rather than spending it to shave off a couple of moves.
- Use undo freely. Since every slide commits you fully, backing out of a bad one costs nothing but a click.
It suits players who like slow, methodical puzzles over fast reflex ones — the kind of game you can chip away at one level at a time.
