Build Your Island, from SwiftRoll, starts you off with a single hex tile and nothing else. Every tap adds a new tile next to your island and lets you pick what it becomes — grass, forest, mountain, river, and more, each one a foothold for a building like a farm, mill, mine, castle, or village as your little landmass fills out.
There's no clock and no opponent — it's a slow, one-tile-at-a-time build-up rather than a race. Each new tile earns coins, which you can spend on fresh tile packs or a reshuffle when the options in front of you don't fit where your island is headed. Because you're choosing every placement yourself, no two islands end up shaped the same way.
Controls
Click or tap to place a tile and to choose what it becomes — that's the entire input, on both desktop and mobile.
Tips
- Don't grab the first available tile on reflex — look at where the empty edges of your island actually are before deciding what to place next.
- Save a reshuffle for when every tile on offer would break up a shape you were going for, rather than using it the moment you see one you don't love.
- Spread building types out a little instead of clustering everything of one kind — it keeps more edges open for whatever tile comes next.
It's a good fit for a low-pressure, no-fail session — something to shape a little at a time rather than sit down and finish in one sitting.
