Cherry on the Cake is a one-mechanic aim-and-launch puzzle from Kebit, released as the studio's debut game on Poki. Each level drops a topping above a towering, tiered cake, and the entire job is to launch it down through the gaps so it actually lands and sticks.
The challenge is trajectory, not speed. A short shot undershoots the tier you're aiming for, a long one sails past it, and later levels stack the cakes higher and start threading obstacles into the flight path, turning a simple drop into a real puzzle about timing the release.
Controls
Mouse only: click and hold to pull back your aim, then release to launch the topping toward the cake.
Tips
- Watch the aim trajectory before you let go — it previews roughly where the topping will land.
- Once obstacles show up in the flight path, a shorter, steeper shot often threads the gap more reliably than a flat, fast one.
It's built around one clean mechanic rather than a sprawling mode list, which makes it an easy game to pick up for a few minutes at a time.
