Cross A Pix Game

Cross A Pix is an intellectual, picture-deduction puzzle game developed by Conceptis Puzzles. In this game, players are challenged to reveal hidden pixel-art illustrations by applying logic and deduction to a grid. Unlike traditional Picross or Nonograms, Cross A Pix divides the grid into unique, irregular regions, adding an extra layer of strategy to the solving process.

The rules of the game are straightforward yet mentally stimulating. Every grid square within a designated region must share the same state—either completely filled (painted) or entirely empty (blanked). By using the numerical clues positioned along the top and left edges of the grid, players determine how many squares in each row and column must be filled to fulfill the puzzle's requirements.

Controls

• First Click: Fill a region with color.
• Second Click: Place dots inside a region to indicate it should remain blank.
• Third Click: Clear the region and return it to its default state.
• U Key: Undo the last action.

Tips for Success

• Start with Large Clues: Look for columns or rows that have clue numbers matching the total length, or columns/rows with a clue of 0, to easily paint or blank entire regions immediately.
• Respect Regional Rules: Remember that regions are all-or-nothing. Painting a single square in a region means you must paint the entire shape, which often narrows down options on adjacent lines.
• Use the Rulers: Enable the rulers from the toolbar to align clues with their respective rows and columns, preventing misclicks on larger grids.
