Freecell Solitaire Game

Freecell Solitaire is a classic, open-information card game that demands strategy and forward planning. Unlike many solitaire variations, every single card is dealt face-up right from the start. Your goal is to move all 52 cards into the four foundation piles, sorted by suit from Ace up to King. To get there, you'll need to carefully maneuver cards between the eight tableau columns and four temporary holding spots known as free cells.

The challenge comes from how you manage your limited space. You can build down tableau columns by alternating colors, but you can only move multiple cards at once if you have enough empty free cells or tableau columns to support the transfer. Every move requires thinking several steps ahead, making it a highly rewarding puzzle for players who enjoy logic and patience.

Controls

• Mouse: Click and drag cards to move them. You can also click a card to automatically send it to a valid destination if one is available.
• Touch: On mobile devices, tap and drag cards, or tap a card to auto-move it.

Tips

• Prioritize emptying columns: An empty tableau column is incredibly valuable because it can hold an entire sequence of cards, unlike a free cell which only holds one.
• Keep your free cells open: Try not to fill your four free cells too quickly. They are your main tool for untangling deep stacks.
• Look for the Aces early: You can't start building your foundation piles until the Aces are freed. Scan the board immediately to locate them and plan your first few moves around digging them out.
