About God Of Light

God of Light is a physics puzzle game built around a single idea: guide a beam of light from its source to a goal by bending it around mirrors. You play as Shiny, a small glowing ball that fires out a ray, and every level is a still-life arrangement of mirrors, crystals and obstacles standing between that ray and the darkened Source of Life waiting to be lit.

There's no timer and no combat — each level is a self-contained puzzle you solve by rearranging the scene itself. Rotate a mirror a few degrees and the beam swings to hit a new target; slide one aside and a path that was blocked opens up. New pieces get introduced gradually: prisms split a single beam into several, colored crystals need light of a matching color to trigger, some crystals fire their own reflected beams back into the puzzle, and black holes bend the light's path instead of reflecting it outright. Along the way you can pick up crystals scattered around each level for extra completion value, though reaching the Source of Life is always the actual goal.

Controls

  • Click and drag a mirror to rotate or reposition it.
  • Left mouse button is the only input the game needs — no keyboard required.

Tips

  • Trace the beam's current path before touching anything — most puzzles have one mirror that's clearly misaligned, and fixing that one first usually unlocks the rest.
  • When a beam needs to hit two things at once, look for a prism instead of trying to angle a single reflection perfectly.
  • Colored crystals only respond to matching light — if a beam won't trigger one, you likely need to route a different-colored beam through a color crystal first.
  • Black holes bend light rather than block it, so don't assume a beam is dead just because it enters one — follow where it comes out the side.

It's a calm, screen-by-screen puzzle game rather than a reflex test — a good fit for anyone who likes untangling one static scene at a time, with no penalty for taking a while to see the solution.

God Of Light FAQ

What are the controls for God of Light?
The whole game runs on the left mouse button: click and drag a mirror to rotate or reposition it. No keyboard input is needed.
What's the goal of each level in God of Light?
Guide the beam of light coming from Shiny through the level's mirrors, prisms and crystals until it reaches the Source of Life, lighting it up.
Can I play God of Light on my phone?
The original game is built for touch, so on mobile you rotate and slide mirrors with your finger the same way you'd drag them with a mouse on desktop.
Do the crystals scattered around each level matter?
Regular crystals are optional collectibles for completion, but colored crystals are functional — they only activate when hit by light of a matching color, so some puzzles need you to route a beam through one before it can reach its target.
