Goose Game

Goose Game is a digital recreation of the traditional board game, also known as the Royal Game of the Goose. Developed by Code This Lab, this HTML5 adaptation brings the timeless race-to-the-finish board game directly to your web browser. Players take turns rolling a pair of virtual dice to navigate their goose-shaped tokens across a winding spiral track containing 63 squares, aiming to be the first to land exactly on the final square.

Each turn brings a mix of luck and suspense, as the board is littered with special spaces that can either accelerate your progress or set you back. You can challenge a computer-controlled opponent in single-player mode, or play with up to five friends in local pass-and-play multiplayer, making it a perfect casual session for players of all ages.

Controls

• Roll Dice: Left-click or tap the dice button on the screen when it is your turn.
• Menu Navigation: Use your mouse or touch screen to select the number of players, choose your goose colors, and toggle sound settings.

Special Board Squares

• The Goose (Multiple Squares): Landing on a goose square doubles your move distance by adding your latest roll again.
• The Bridge (Square 6): Instantly jumps you forward to square 12.
• The Inn (Square 19): Forces you to miss one turn while your goose rests.
• The Well (Square 31) and The Prison (Square 52): Traps your goose. You cannot move again until another player lands on that space, which frees you but traps them in your place.
• The Maze (Square 42): Confuses your token, sending you backward to square 30.
• The Skull (Square 58): Represents death, resetting your progress and sending you back to the starting square.
