GunForce Game

GunForce is a fast-paced 2D action-puzzle platformer and shooter built on the LittleJS engine. Players navigate through intricate grid-based levels packed with traps, hostile soldiers, and physics-based obstacles. The objective is to guide your character safely through each hazard-filled chamber and reach the exit flag to advance.

Armed with a blaster, you can collect weapon power-ups that alter your fire mode, switching from a standard pistol to a rapid-fire minigun, a high-spread shotgun, a grenade launcher, or a rocket launcher. You must use these weapons to blow up explosive barrels, shatter glass partitions, bypass minefields, and defeat various enemy types, including patrolling ground troops and mobile jetpack soldiers. Along the way, you will interact with switches, portals, fans, and spring pads to solve environmental puzzles.

Controls

GunForce supports local co-op play for up to two players on the same keyboard:

Player 1 Controls

• Move Left / Right: A / D keys (or Arrow Left / Arrow Right)
• Jump / Climb Up: W key (or Arrow Up)
• Climb Down: S key (or Arrow Down)
• Aim: Mouse cursor
• Shoot: Left Mouse Button or Spacebar

Player 2 Controls

• Move Left / Right: Arrow Left / Arrow Right keys
• Jump / Climb Up: Arrow Up key
• Climb Down: Arrow Down key
• Shoot: Shift key (Left Shift, Right Shift, or Shift)

Gameplay Tips

• Utilize Environmental Objects: Heavy rolling rocks can crush enemies beneath them, while red and blue barrels can be shot to trigger fiery or freezing explosions that affect nearby threats.
• Aim Carefully: Since Player 1 can aim using the mouse cursor, take advantage of this to shoot enemies from safe angles before they can react or spot you.
• Manipulate Traps with Switches: Look for colored buttons on the ground. Stepping on them can activate laser beams, spawn moving saws, or clear controlled blocks to open new paths.
