About Hop Chop

Hop Chop puts you in charge of a pig who never stops bouncing forward. Every landing is automatic, so the whole game comes down to one decision made over and over: click at the right instant to swing your sword, hop over a hazard, or dodge whatever is about to hit you. It plays fast and forgiving at first, then turns into a real test of timing once obstacles start stacking up back to back.

There's no story or level select here, just a single lane that keeps throwing new combinations of enemies and traps at you. Stars scattered along the path are your score and your currency at once, so a good run means slicing cleanly through danger while still grabbing what you can reach.

Controls

One button does everything: click (or tap on mobile) to make the pig jump, attack, or dodge depending on what's in front of it.

Tips

  • Click a beat early rather than late — the pig's animation has a short wind-up before it actually swings or jumps.
  • Watch the ground right in front of the pig, not the horizon; hazards you need to react to appear close.
  • Chasing every star is how most runs end early — let a few go if a hazard is right behind them.

It's a quick pick-up-and-play session game, best suited to short bursts rather than long play — perfect for a few runs between things.

Hop Chop FAQ

What are the controls for Hop Chop?
A single click or tap makes the pig jump, attack, or dodge depending on what obstacle is in front of it.
Does Hop Chop save my progress?
No — each run is a fresh attempt down the path, so there's no save file or persistent level to pick back up.
Can I play Hop Chop on mobile?
Yes, the game only needs a single tap to play, which works the same on phones and tablets as it does with a mouse.
How hard is Hop Chop?
It starts simple but the obstacle patterns speed up and combine the longer a run lasts, so later stretches demand quick, precise timing.
