About Ice Dodo

Ice Dodo drops you on a floating ice platform in outer space, sliding a stubby little dodo bird across narrow, slippery paths toward a finish line. There's no walking pace here — the dodo glides constantly, so every level is really about steering a skid, not timing a walk. One wrong nudge sends you off the edge and back to the start of that map.

The challenge scales through hundreds of hand-built maps, each with its own layout, hazards and finish line placement. Early ones are short slides to get a feel for the drift; later ones stack narrow rails, gaps and turns that punish overcorrecting. It's a game built for short, replayable bursts rather than one long session — fail a map, restart instantly, try again.

Controls

  • Left / Right Arrow — steer the dodo left or right
  • Spacebar — restart the current map
  • On mobile, on-screen left/right buttons replace the arrow keys

Tips

  • Steer in short taps rather than holding a direction — the dodo drifts, so overcorrecting is what actually causes most falls
  • Restart immediately with Spacebar the moment you slip instead of watching the fall play out
  • Watch the width of the path ahead, not just your dodo — narrow sections need earlier, smaller corrections

Good fit for anyone who likes short, restart-and-retry skill challenges rather than a game with a long story or build-up.
